The film manufacturers and OZICOZI recommend that Paint Protection Film film should be installed by trained professionals. In fact, the manufacturers will only warrant the film if it has been applied by qualified installers

All OZICOZI installers have undergone extensive training in the technology of the film, and in the proper techniques required to produce a professional result. Whilst some small pieces can be carried out with DIY knowledge, our kits usually require specific knowledge that could make it difficult for DIY operators.

The place where we do the installation must be clean, well-lit, draught-free, well-ventilated. We do not install outside or on very hot (> 28°C) or windy days. The quality of the environment where the installation is conducted determines the quality of the finished installation. We cannot control dust levels, draughts, pet hairs, etc.

Installation Method and Procedures.

1. The film's adhesive requires that the painted surface must be free of wax, grease, dirt, dust and any bug residue. Therefore we clean the paint with paint cleaning solvents to create a clean surface.

2. We thoroughly soak all pieces of film in a special solution of water and isopropanol (pure alcohol) to clean the paintwork and to activate the adhesive.

3. Each piece is aligned and squeegeed into place. This part of the process requires experience and knowledge of certain techniques to achieve a professional result.

After the installation we dry the film off with a chamois. Although the surface may be very dry, the edges will still be damp and must be allowed to cure for 24 hours to achieve maximum bondage. During that time the car must not be washed or driven in the rain.
