OZICOZI is now OZICOZI Group.

The owners of OZICOZI in Melbourne and Sydney have consolidated the businesses into one entity now known as OZICOZI Group P/L. We also have a small number of shareholders who are helping us to expand our operations.

One of our first achievements has been to open new offices in both Melbourne (specifically Port Melbourne) and in Sydney (at Artarmon). Each of our new shops is now big enough to handle an increased level of volume for the foreseeable future. As a further aid to our customers, we have a couple of new national phone numbers that will automatically be redirected to your closest OZICOZI store. The new numbers are (Phone) 1300 OZICOZI and (Fax) 1800 OZICOZI. (These numbers should be operational by August 1st.)

"World's First" - Lotus Australia asks OZICOZI to "wrap" their newest baby - the 2-eleven.

We were recently asked by Lotus Australia to completely wrap their newest model - the awesome track car known as the 2-eleven. This car was on display at the Sydney Motor Show and is now being used for press and demonstration purposes on a number of racetracks around Australia.  Lotus want the car to remain in showroom condition for as long as possible whilst zooming around the racetrack at phenomenal speeds.

The car was under constant attention and scrutiny from thousands of show attendees and few of them would be able to detect that the car has been "wrapped".  This was a big project for OZICOZI, with a very tight timeline, and it involved a major design exercise to quickly develop a comprehensive kit for this very curvy beast.

Lotus have entered the car in the Mt Buller Sprint weekend over 3-5 November.

3M announces its intention to acquire Venture Tape Corp.

We have recently received information from 3M and Venture Tape Corp about 3M's intention to acquire Venture Tape Corp and its ancillary operations. This appears to be a non-hostile acquisition and should be completed by the end of the 2007 calendar year.

At OZICOZI we welcome the announcement as it will reduce a certain amount of confusion in the marketplace. We're hoping that the marriage of these two giants will create a new generation of films that even surpasses their current excellent offerings.

OZICOZI has been an authorised distributor of 3M film products since 2003 and a distributor of VentureTape film products since 2005. No other Australian company has more experience or such a long association with these two suppliers than OZICOZI P/L.

BMW announce availability of Paint Protection Film kits for all models.

Finally, BMW Germany have announced the availability of BMW genuine Paint Protection Film kits for all current BMW models. BMW now joins the growing list of manufacturers who see the benefit of Paint Protection Film.

Other manufacturers who currently use PPF to protect external paintwork are Audi, Ferrari, Ford, HSV, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Moto Guzzi, Nissan, Porsche, Volkswagen and Toyota.

Parts of our website 'stolen'.

It's not really nice to find that someone starting up in this industry has taken the easy way out by copying a whole page from our website and plonking it in theirs.

That's what happened recently when I noticed that www.XXXXXXXXXXX.com.au had taken our HTML code and styles from our Quote Page and created their own Quote Page, basically word for word with our lists, our dropdowns, our javascript validations, boxes around the questions, CSS selectors, etc. The complete "look and feel" had been copied, along with our distinctive text and phrasing.

We spend lots of time (= money) to deliver the best Paint Protection Film website and we do not take kindly to people stealing our time (= money).  Threatened with legal action, the website owner has made some minor changes to attempt to placate us, but obviously still thinks that using our ideas is ok.

New OZICOZI website up and running.

We've retired the old website and have updated the look and most of the content. The navigation hasn't changed much, except there is now a "Quote" button in the main top menu, and we have a "News" page (obviously).

We've also removed the Manufacturer's list of makes and models. Please use the Quote page to nominate your make and model. The reasons for this? We are working on a smoother way for customers to access our database of vehicles, and will shortly provide a much tighter and easier to use quotation system.

We've listened to your comments about our website and have made changes to keep it looking good and to represent our corporate image better. If you have any suggestions please send them in to us.

OZICOZI chosen to protect Team MINI.

BMW Group has prepared 3 MINI Cooper JCW (John Cooper Works) cars for tarmac rallies during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. This includes such prestigious events as the Targa Tasmania, Mt Buller Sprint, Classic Adelaide, and all rounds of the Dutton Rally.

Team MINI has asked OZICOZI to provide paint protection for the 3 cars and we have installed specially designed bonnet protection pieces, full bumper protection, headlight protection, as well as side skirts and roll cage paint protection.

The paint protection film has been installed and has not changed the appearance or colour of the cars. Prior to the film being installed the cars had competed in two rallies and needed bonnet and bumper resprays. We anticipate the film will withstand a full season of rally punishment and keep the cars looking fantastic throughout the year.

OZICOZI now offers our customers the choice of two films, namely 3M and VentureTape.

Both companies manufacture films that are premium urethane films and exhibit very similar qualities in terms of gloss, puncture resistance, adhesive, and ease of removal.

3M and VentureTape manufacture their tapes to the highest industry standards and both have many years of experience and development embodied in their products.

Both companies provide tapes and films to many automotive manufacturers (OEM) and aftermarket specialists.
